I remember him going down rather easily by a ticky tack punch. I wanna say guys were riding him for being Tito like in not wanting to get hit. But it was awhile ago and every season is a blur so maybe Im wrong.
 
I really, really hope Sonnen wins. Then Silva would gladly jump up to 205, beat his ass, then would have to face the #1 contender who is hopefully Jones.
 
Silva is done with Chael, he didn't want to fight him back then there wouldn't be a reason to fight him after having him 2-0. Chael is really being under-estimated in this fight though, if he can compete with Anderson Silva, he can definitely compete with Jon.

Chael is game, he won't do what Rampage, Evans, etc did and let Jones dictate the fight. He's going to press and pressure Jon which is something no one else has really done. It'll be interesting to see how Jon reacts (when Chael's on the attack) and what he'll revert to when he can't openly setup. What happens when someone closes the distance on him and he can't try to blow someone's knee out anymore. How will he fight with his back to the cage. Striking, everyone wants to hate on Chael's power, and I'm definitely not saying it's good, but how many people can say that they dropped Anderson Silva?

I'm not saying Chael wins, but I don't see why this wouldn't be a competitive and fun fight to watch given how he did against Anderson, the best in the world. If you can give #1 a good fight, you can give a cocky #3 a good one as well.
 
Silvas style is much more welcoming than Jones. Silva loves for you to try and get into his range , Jones does everything to keep you a mile away until he wants to wrestle.
I just picture Chael getting cracked with an elbow early and throwing things off or getting caught in some bizarre guillotine.
 
Chael has no hope, he is a mw going against one of the most dominate fighters around, he has more reach than every HW besides Struve

He won't be able to get at Jones, or wrestle him down, chael can try and wall and stall until he gets elbowed or choked, he doesn't have a punchers chance because heddoesn't have any power

He is living off one performance when And1 was hurt and he was juiced to the max, since than he barely got Bisping down and got KO by Silva
