Brock Lesnar Vs. Randy Couture
This has got to be one of the most anticipated fights. I'm not sure Lesnar can go round for round with "The Natural". But if he does and he claims the Heavy Weight title, there could be a new age in the octagon.

What do you guys think?

Yea, he wrestled at WWE and had a pretty nice career. Course he quit to try and make it in the NFL. He joined the Vikings practice squad and then he was later released.

So he took up MMA.

Now he has managed to get a title shot in the top MMA business.

I think to be fair, Brock left because he saw the beating that guys take over decades of wrestling.. and how they become bum losers with no money when they retire. He had a 7 figure contract and was set for the near future, but didnt want the longevity problems that wrestling comes with.

He foolishly tought he could play pro football.. but if he wasnt a "celeb" he would've been cut from the practice squad a hell of a lot earlier.

MMA was the best career path for him. By far. Now hes a legit mainstream star.

KO is the ONLY way brock wins and he is yet to KO a UFC opponent. If this fight goes 3 or more rounds Randy's excellent cardio will allow him beat the shit out of the winded muscleman.


Lets be real here too its not like Brock earned a titleshot. Randy had his spat where he "retired" from the UFC but he had two fight left on his deal. Randy only wants to fight Fedor and tried to do so through affliction. UFC blocked him from fighting in Affliction saying he had to honor his contract. Randy handpicked who he wanted to fight in UFC, a 1-1 fighter definitely doesnt deserve a shot at the title but a HOF fighter gets that honor of handpicking their opponent.


Dont get me wrong im hype for Lesnar, i think hes 100% more legit as a MMA fighter than fellow freak show Kevin Ferguson. I was all excited for Lesnar's first UFC fight and then couldnt believe when he got trapped in that ankle lock. Randy's wrestling and cardio are far better than anything Lesnar have ever fought against.




I voted for RC in the poll but im torn, Lesnar's raw power vs Randy's supreme physical conditioning is a good matchup. Lesnar's biggest advantage is the 50-60 lbs he'll have on Randy for the fight. If anyone actually believes the 265 the UFC is selling for Lesnar I LOL @ them.




Actually id like to see Lesnar and Mir win their fights so they can have a Mir vs Lesnar 2 for the unified title.

Joe Daddy vs KenFlo could be decent as well but overall the card is lacking IMO. Lesnar vs Couture as the superfight so they put slop in the rest of the slots.

Ill still be at Hooters for most of saturday night watching it all

OMG, from 6th grade to freshman year, you have NO IDEA! Lesnar was my 2nd favorite star (R.I.P Chris Benoit) outside of Benoit.

That was when I was a fresh in HS, though. I haven't watch WWE in years. ESPN 360 was the show that brought "The Next Big Thing" motto back. I just found it hilarious. I love the UFC though.

Even though I'm a blatant Lesnar homer. I think he will still win. But for some reason, an image of Lesnar being too hyped and Couture captalizing on a midmatch mistake and lucking out a win (a la Frank Mir in Lesnar's first fight) sticks out in my head. No one can beat Lesnar. Lesnar beats Lesnar. Couture's only hope is that Lesnar comes out too hyped and leaves a slim opening to lock something in.
