Rich Franklin is really technical so I like his chances. Im pretty sure he has a significant reach advantage as well.
But he"ll only win if he doesnt have Anderson flashbacks when Wandy puts him in a MT clinch.

Ill go with Wandy just cuz I want to see him keep going.


Im sure everyones off the bandwagon....but nothing is more exciting then a CroCop high kick. Lets hope this time around he lands them instead of taking them.

Cro Cop comes back, Cain Velasquez makes a name for himself (I like his style), I want to see Wandy be relevant in the UFC...so I want him to win.

Mannnn I know Franklin is the favourite, and probably the more rounded fighter.. but I think Wand is gonna bust the dudes face. Franklin just wasnt that impressive against Hendo and the only real impressive win from him of late was against Hammil, who seemed really nervous and got away from his game plan. Franklin can beat him, but I think Wand's fury of fists is going to be too much for Franklin.

Rest of the card:

Cain over Kongo.. if Kongo can keep it standing I think he wins the fight, but if Cain starts to wrestle Kongo he could be in trouble. I see Cain winning lay n pray decision.

Swick over Saunders.. could go either way. Saunders got some heavy hands so if he catches Swick hes in trouble. But Swick is a more well-rounded fighter me thinks.

Marcus Davis over Dan Hardy.. Hardy has looked impressive thus far but Marcus Davis has some of the best/hardest head shots in the sport. I think he KOs Hardy in the 2nd round.

Cro Cop over Al Turk. Is it just me or is Dana a clever guy? Put the Anti-Terrorist cop against the guy that sounds like hes straight out of Al-Jihad. CroCop wins by head kick into the 27th row.

Spencer Fisher over Caol Uno.. I havent seen Uno fight in a long ass time.. but he was nice in his day. That being said, Fisher has an intense pace that might be too much for an older Uno. No prediction as to an ending tho.

The thing I like about this card is that most fights really could go either way. Hence why I said I think it has the ability to be the most exciting of the next 3 cards. But on paper it definitely doesnt match up with the other two.. and IMO this should be a free show on Spike at night, considering its showing during the day anyways.

If Rich can weather the early storm by Silva and deal with the pressure that he's going to put on him right from the jump then I think Rich will win by decision. Once he figures him out I think he's savvy enough with good enough footwork to avoid Silva's power and win that fight. Also Rich Franklin can take a beating, if he does get caught I think he'll be alright. So my pick is Rich by decision.

Kongo vs Cain is a tough call. This a big test for Cain early in his career, but if he goes in there with a good gameplan I think he should be able to pull this out. I'm still not sold on Kongo being able to fight from his back, so I think Cain gets him down and wins via TKO, GnP. Tough fight though and a good match up.

Quick Swick vs Saunders is another good matchup, both looked very impressive in their last fight. Imma go with the more seasoned fighter in this one though, so I'm going with Swick.

Dan Hardy and Marcus Davis is a toss up IMO. It'll be interesting to see if Davis can overcome the reach/height adv that Hardy has. Someones gonna get KO'd in that fight, that's all I know.

Caol Uno over Fisher, I can see that going either way too.
Cro Cop over Al-Turk. Albeit Cro Cop hasn't looked impressive in a long time, I'd still hope he should be able to beat Al-Turk.

If Cain sticks to his wrestling he should beat Kongo, atleast go for some damn takedowns and make the guy work, no Kos type shit please
