UFC Create-A-Fighter and Training from QJB

One of my biggest fears about the newly released UFC title from EA SPORTS was "how in-depth will the career mode be?". After watching several videos I thought I would share this for those of us who don't have UFC yet or are on the fence. QJB uploaded the fighter creation as well as some quick training.

1st Fight!

Once you get into the thick of the mode, it's not that in depth. It's as fun as you can have climbing the ladder in each division (unless you're strictly into online).

(After the TUF deal and you're officially in the UFC) You don't choose fights, you're essentially just told by Joe Silva who you're fighting. No options to choose between fights.

Training between fights is useless unless you need extra time to learn controls. You get more than enough attribute points from wins to increase your stats fairly quickly. You can also use those points to unlock moves (I assume you have different options for moves depending on which type of fighter you have, though I don't know that's a fact).

The career damage meter is interesting as it's the way that dictates when you retire (I assume, since plenty of guys are still active well into their 40s). Aside from wins and losses, you have a running number for how many fans you have and I guess that helps dictate when you get PPV fights and title fights.

Aside from that, the sponsor deals are all for show. You get different abilities when you win that you can combine and give you boosts during fights in various areas.

Occasionally (only seen it once), when you're a top guy, you may be given a fight with someone from a different weight class.

I was struggling last night fighting the guy before the first live Finals. It took me like 12 tries to beat the dude lol. I was getting mauled standing up and on the ground. He would regain stamina way quicker than I could. I eventually got him really tired on the ground, stood the fight up and leg kicked in the chops.
