uh oh, Cleveland Browns will change uni's in 2015

To say the Cleveland Browns’ uniforms are vanilla gives a bad name to vanilla. It’s the only NFL franchise without a logo on either side of its helmet, it just debuted the ugliest alternate jerseys in recent memory (above) and it’s a team long hamstrung by the fact that its founder happened to have a surname that’s one of the most boring colors on the spectrum.

All that is going to change in 2015. Allegedly. Team president Alec Scheiner told WKRK-FM in Cleveland that the team will debut new jerseys next year. “We’ll have cutting-edge uniforms that link back to our history,” he said.

Cutting-edge? Nothing about the team’s uniform history could ever be considered “cutting edge.” It’d be like trying to make something provocative out of a plain white T-shirt. With the exception of a few subtle changes, the Browns have been going with a variation of the following combinations since their inception.

Honestly quite a big fan of the Browns unis. People might say brown is boring but at least it isn't common.

Browns have one of the sharpest looks in the league when they leave the brown pants out of the equation. Hope these changes are subtle but Nike gonna Nike.
