James White is looking to make history for #4 Wisconsin by bringing the team back-to-back Heisman trophies, and he certainly has the credentials to do so. Over the course of the regular season, White carried the ball 260 times for 1,819 yards (1st in the NCAA) and 25 touchdowns (1st in the NCAA) for an average of 6.9 yards per carry (1st in the NCAA), and also had 21 receptions for 314 yards and another five scores. Wisconsin's offense ranked 2nd in the country, finished the season with a 10-2 (7-2) record, and will end the year in the Allstate Sugar Bowl against #8 Oklahoma.

Texas has wrapped up yet another incredible season with their first PAC-16 conference title, and stand as one of just two unbeaten teams left in the nation with the BCS National Championship game looming in the horizon. Much of their success can be attributed to junior quarterback Connor Wood, who in his first year as starter led the nation's top-ranked passing attack, and gave the offense an average of 37.6 points per game (2nd in the NCAA). Wood completed 55% (10th in the NCAA) of his 403 passes for 3,160 yards (1st in the NCAA), 40 touchdowns (1st in the NCAA), and only 11 interceptions.

His 161.5 QB rating was the best in the nation as he completed 56% (5th in the NCAA) of his 317 passes for 2,854 yards (5th in the NCAA), 31 touchdowns (2nd in the NCAA), and just five interceptions, the fewest amount for any quarterback who attempted more than 250 passes on the season. Georgia finished the year with the nation's top-ranked overall offense, and averaged a league-best 39.8 points per game. They ended the regular season with an 8-4 (5-4) record, and will meet Iowa in the Progressive Gator Bowl.
