VOTE: Roster Changes

This is a vote to change the roster size & starting lineup.

Last year's rosters were 28 total players. The maximum Yahoo allows is 30.

The starting lineups were made up of C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, OF (4), UTIL, P (8), with 6 bench spots, and 2 DL spots.

The proposal would be to increase the rosters to 30 total players, with the following breakdown:

Starting lineup: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, OF (4), UTIL, P (8), with 6 bench spots, 2 DL spots, and 2 NA spots (N/A are usually minor leaguers, but sometimes players not under contract as well).

Vote YES to increase rosters to 30 players by adding two NA spots.

Vote NO to leave the rosters at 28 with zero NA spots.

Just to be clear once the N/A players are activated you will have to drop someone off one of your 26 active spots, and move the N/A player onto it. So if a player gets called up to replace someone for a few weeks, they'll go back to N/A status and you'll get another active roster spot back.

Yes, the N/A slots work exactly the same as the DL slots on Yahoo.

Yahoo will force you to move them to your active roster when they are called up.

Basically this initiative will allow you to stash a couple of minor leaguers without eating your 6 bench spots.

The flip side, is a very thin free agent list gets even thinner.
