We're only a few days away from the Electronic Entertainment Expo AKA E3 and the 'Cast Crew is raring to go this year.

For those familiar with their hijinks last E3, everyone on the podcast summarily tore every publisher a new one while being absolutely hammered on whatever alcohol was available.

This year is no different so with that in mind, the team of Twigg, Brink and Jay put together this little Pre-Show to let their listeners in on what's going down at the event.

Also involved is the wife of Mr. Twigg as she shares the feminine point-of-view to the 'Cast... words were said, blood was spilt.

Good episode, but I had zero interest in any of the games you guys were talking about for E3. Aren't there any original games anymore? It seemed like every game was the 3rd or 4th sequel.

Pretty much.

Dishonored seem interesting enough and knowing that there's a playable version of the new DLC for BF3 is exciting as well.

All E3 is going to be this year is Vita, Wii U, Kinect and unveiling the 720.

Yeah, that's kind of the state of the entire games industry these days. Development costs are so high that companies are afraid to take chances. Because the companies that do seem to take chances with games like Shadows of the Damned, and Sega title, etc, seem to completely flop at retail even though they are good games.

It seems like Sony is the only company who can consistently pump out new IPs and have them be somewhat successful. I'm kinda curious as to why that is. I know they have some of the best developers but I feel like that is not the only reason for their success.

I guess they do a better job of advertising. I'm sure the closer we get to The Last of Us releasing there will be ads and commercial everywhere.
