VSD Poll: Who will win the AFC West in 2011?

I say Chargers win this one with relative ease this year. I think Oakland and Kansas City will regress, Denver may surprise but won't contend just yet.
 
I like it that people are inexplicably on San Diego's dick again this year.

I watch almost every chiefs game every year.

I chose San Diego to win the division. I do remember watching the last KC/SD game and the chiefs getting blown the fuck out. Sure use the excuse that Cassel didn't play, but (IMO) that wouldn't have changed the outcome.

I remember that game as well. I also remember the Chiefs still winning the division despite "getting blown the fuck out".

I think the Chiefs will lose to the Chargers in San Diego again this year. Luckily, there are 15 other games.
 
it has to be the chargers. oakland sucks, the chiefs lost their offensive coordinator and their head coach is a complete prick and the broncos have neckbeard and tewbow. even if/when the chargers dont bother to show up till week 7 it wont matter. the raiders swept the div last year and still missed the fucking playoffs.

It's funny how many people believe this.

People say the Chiefs won the division last year with a soft schedule. Yes, they did. But, they won the games they needed to win. San Diego didn't. They had a soft schedule too!

It's funny how people are quick to get on Josh Freeman for not winning 4/4 games and only losing to the Lions to miss the playoffs, but if Rivers had won just TWO out of the following games, San Diego would have won the division:

Seattle
St. Louis
Cincinnati
Oakland
Oakland again

Rivers and the Chargers lost ALL of those games.

They're one of the most overrated teams in the league. Outside of Rivers, Gates, and Jackson, their always hyped "talent" isn't that great. Shaun Phillips is a good player, but he doesn't scare you. Outside of QB and TE, I'd take KC's position groups over San Diego's.

KC is more talented across the board, more balanced, and they have a better coaching staff.

The Chiefs also did more to improve their team than San Diego in the off-season.

Todd Haley will call plays. That worked out pretty well for him in Arizona.

The loss of Charlie Weis is mitigated by bringing in Jim Zorn as the QB coach.
 
I think the loss of Sproles will REALLY hurt the Chargers in the Chiefs matchup. The Chiefs offense will be lights out this year, and the defense is solid. The Chargers are IMO not as good without Sproles.

Raiders swept the division last year destroying all three teams really the 2nd meeting (waxed denver both times) I expect us to be better with our young talent most people forget Aso & miller were hurt most the 2nd half anyway
