Alright. After much bitchassery from people who generate zero content on VSN, some of which couldn't even be bothered to submit a ballot for this; I am going to post all of the rewards results at once. In total sixteen people voted, one ballot was rejected (DDRGuido). Guido is retarded and failed to follow directions, I asked him to fix his ballot but he ignored the request. I did however use Guido's vote for the Clemente award to break a tie. Lanteri did not cast votes for MOY, but I used the rest of his ballot anyways.

Why I...

...chose Clayton Kershaw over Andrew McCutchen for the NL MVP: Kershaw, a shoe-in for the NL Cy Young at this point, posted career-bests in innings (236.0), BB/9 (1.98), and ERA (1.83) - which was the lowest mark among qualified starters since Pedro Martinez's ridiculous 2000 season. He also led the league in ERA+ (194, shattering his previous high of 161 set in 2011) and WHIP (0.915), and was among the league leaders in FIP (2.39). McCutchen is the only other logical choice here, but I sided with Kershaw's dominance over McCutchen's outstanding overall play.

...had Russell Martin on my NL MVP ballot: It wasn't because I felt bad for not giving Cutch the MVP award. Martin has been the key to the Pirates success this season, despite his replacement-level value with the bat. He had a season defensively (40% CS%, 16 DRS) that could end Yadier Molina's string of Gold Gloves, and was instrumental in handling Pittsburgh's young arms like Gerrit Cole and Jeff Locke. He also has done an excellent job blocking pitches in the dirt (which he has had a lot of opportunities to do so, considering how much Francisco Liriano and A.J. Burnett throw their breaking pitches) and is great at pitch-framing. Knew VSN wouldn't give him much love because of his deficiencies with the bat, so I gave him a vote because I could see the impact he had on the Pirates in every game I watched.

...went with Mike Trout over Miguel Cabrera for AL MVP: Unlike last year where Trout should have won, this was a coin-flip. I have no qualms with picking Miggy because he's been godly with the bat and had an even better season than last year, but Trout was better with the bat as well. Cabrera had an even worse year defensively and on the basepaths, while Trout - who also was worse in both categories - still ranked near the top of his position in both areas. Miggy struggling down the stretch while dealing with injuries helped somewhat with my vote too, as bad as that sounds.

...gave Trevor Rosenthal a vote over the other young rookie pitchers for NL ROY: Great crop of rookie starters after Jose Fernandez. Shelby Miller, Julio Teheran, Gerrit Cole, Hyun-Jin Ryu all were deserving of votes. I picked Rosenthal because he was one of the best relief pitchers in the NL not named Craig Kimbrel, and his dominance - despite the amount of innings he threw - pushed him ahead of the starters.

...picked Joe Girardi to win AL MOY: The Yankees trotted out for most of the year included Eduardo Nunez, Lyle Overbay, and Vernon Wells, among other names - and yet the Yankees were in the playoff hunt until the last week of the season. He also handled the A-Rod black cloud superbly. Picked him ahead of Terry Francona and John Farrell, who both did outstanding jobs as well, but either a) played an entire FCS schedule in September in make the playoffs (you be quiet, NAHSTE) or b) didn't have the bare roster people made it out to be.
