I have no idea what to make of the Rams.
While I'm not totally sold on The 'Stache, he's clearly about a million times better than Linehan or *********, made sweeping & dramatic changes to *********'* awful roster, and got every ounce of effort & moxie out of his extremely limited group of players last season.
I have no idea who is going to run the ball for this team. Daryl Richardson looked good as a change of pace back, but that's exactly what he is. Pead blows until he shows me otherwise.
I have no idea what the Rams are going to get out of the WVU WR's. If they are slow to develop, the Rams are straight up fucked. Amendola, gone. Brandon Gibson, gone. Steve Jackson, gone. That's your three leading receivers, folks. The Rams have five rookies at WR, and the most tenured at the position is 3rd year player Austin Pettis. So yeah, while i'm thrilled Joe Dirt cleaned up the WR mess the previous regimes created, i'd be lying if I said I wasn't shitting my pants.
The offensive line is good, with four very solid starters (Long, Saffold, Wells, Dahl).
Brad Ford is fine. He'll never be a superstar, but Joe Flacco just won a Super Bowl, and so can he. When you consider what he had around him, his numbers the last few years are pretty impressive.
The defense is very good, led the league in sacks, and returns everyone who matters with the exception of the safety position where they chose to purge money and go young. The Camaro Driver is never going to have a defense that isn't stout, so i'm not worried here.
Also, GREG THE LEG. Hopefully he's not the most exciting player on the team again this year.
Rams aren't winning the division, but I think they'll be a pain in the ass again. And i'll take it.
