Fans of EA's rendition of the National Hockey League have been clamoring for the upcoming NHL 13 for months on end now.

Not one to disappoint, we here at Virtual Sports Network (via VSN Radio) have secured a very special interview with producers Sean Ramjagsingh and Andy Agostini.

In the interview, hosted by VSN's own Bomberooski and Mr. Bill, Mr. Ramjagsingh and Mr. Agostini sat down to answer hand-picked questions poised by forum members of Virtual Sports Network dot com.

My thoughts from this

- boo to just iOS only for the mobile app. Atleast I got an ipad so as commish I can do all the work off that, but sucks it wont be on android.

- they answered the question on having 6v2 games if they want in gm connect, so that does open up a lot I can do with the hockey league. Guys can run a team on their own, or team up with someone, and yet if they are not there, can still play a 1v1 game if needed. I'm thinking of introducing this, but have to figure out a few things for it.

- Very happy the GM brain thing will fix the salary cap problem, and I hope it actually works because when running an OD, the last thing you want is to have a bunch of guys wanting sick amounts of money.

Listening to the interview before I put it up definitely put this game onto my "watch" list simply from the parts about how many people can play and how they can play as well.

Up to 750 people in one league (the highest I've heard of in a gameworld not named MAG [256] or EVE Online [endless depending on the servers]), with the option of just playing a position or running a team or both... it's awesome.

Brink talks about how he's getting FIFA this year and he hasn't played in a while; I might grab NHL 13 based on how hyped I got.

 

I'm not preordering the Stanley Cup Edition, otherwise I'm doing this all day...

Once we get the site approved as a "Game Changers" site all of that can be hashed out. Until then, we will likely get one copy the day before it is available for season pass customers. I suspect after we write up a review that it will be used to promote a drawing here at the site.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope the person doing a review of the game actually plays NHL. I liked the interview and all, but you could really tell that neither Bill or Bomber played the NHL game at all, and didn't know much of what was going on in the franchise. Maybe just something to consider for other game reviews to invite someone who plays the shit out of that game to come on with you and speak for the sport so to say.

I only say this because someone who hardly plays NHL and writes a review really has no idea what they changed and what sucks in the game, and it will turn into a shovel full of BS towards EA's way. Like for example, they talked abou tthe dynamic skating. Well if you didn't play last years game, how would you even know what the difference is? Just my two cents on how to make things better.

I may not be regular on here, but I'll gladly write a review for the game. I've been playing it extensively the last couple of years and have good concept on what people want to hear. I agree that we should have someone who is experienced write the review, but then again not everyone who plays is as hardcore as some of us who throw down on EASHL. Most people are casual I would say; It just doesn't seem like that because the more hardcore players typically tend to be more vocal when the content, not-so extreme fans are derping around on Be-A-GM mode and changing Sidney Crosby's gender.

I thought the interview was great and I didn't expect people here at VSN to have radio voices lol.
