You clipped out the part about Brett Favre. The Packers are my favorite team but Brett Favre > Packers after the way they ran him out of town. Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy can suck it. There is a large and growing group of fans that feel the same way.

I really dont want to get into this Favre Vs. Packers shit again, but people who still hold onto that bullshit need to let it go. If you were only a Packers fan because of Favre, then you were never a "true" Packers fan.
The indecisiveness of retirement, and un-retirement, and expecting people to be waiting on you when you do this is just dumb. Both parties did some things that others would have or should have handled differently. But hindsight is always 20/20.
If Brett would have returned for 08, playing for the Pack, and played like he did with the Jets(even though he was hurt) I would have thought nothing bad of it. But if say, Aaron left, for whatever reason, and I saw him perform the way he did/has in 08/09 for another team, then I would have questioned the decision and been crazy mad about it.
And, I dont want say Aaron would have left over the Brett drama, but if he[Brett] had stayed in Green Bay instead of being traded, and then did it ALL OVER again like he did before Minnesota this year, I think Aaron might not have been a Packer come this year. Especially without a contract. I think we would have done everything we could to try to keep him, but he may have signed elsewhere. And who could blame him?
