Why Charlie Sheen Was Fired: Legal Letter Calls Him “Very Ill” - The Hollywood Reporter

Before announcing that Charlie Sheen was fired, Warner Bros Television sent a letter to the actor’s lawyer, explaining that he was being terminated because he committed a felony involving "moral turpitude," TMZ reports.
The 11-page letter states, "Your client has been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill,” and lists Sheen’s recent antics, as well as disparaging remarks he has made against Men co-creator Chuck Lorre.

The letter states the studio also was so concerned about Sheen, 45, that "Warner Bros. had an airplane waiting" to take him to a treatment facility, but he refused.

The letter states Sheen derailed production when he went into rehab and then fired his sobriety coach.

A clause in Sheen’s contract claims Warner Bros can fire a performer who commits "a felony offense involving moral turpitude”: "There is ample evidence supporting Warner Bros. reasonable good faith opinion that Mr. Sheen has committed felony offenses involving moral turpitude (including but not limited to furnishing of cocaine to others as part of the self-destructive lifestyle he has described publicly) that have 'interfere[d] with his ability to fully and completely render all material services required' under the agreement."

The Today Show correspondent texted Sheen immediately asking him how he felt and Charlie quickly texted "Great!"

They're losing by firing Charlie Sheen. As someone who never watched 2 and a Half Men, I'm gonna watch whatever thing Charlie Sheen does next.

I was reading an idea from some other website on how to replace him.
The writer suggested the hire someone like Taylor Kitsch (Riggins on Friday Night Lights) and have him come in as a young pretty boy who owned the house or something, but keeps Alan. I think that premise might work, Kitsch was great in FNL.

Uncle Jesse's real life swinger lifestyle may lend him to be a credible resource to portray the part. After all, it did drive him and Rebecca Romijn apart eventually.

Stamos is way cooler than that no talent ass clown Sheen. I'd probably start watching the show if they got Uncle Jesse.

ive been wondering where Riggins would pop up next but i dont think he has the comedic abililty to replace Sheen on this show.
