Hornets in 6. Probably because I'm a Hornets fan, but I really like this match-up for the Hornets. With Tyson Chandler back in the lineup, Hornets should have no problem down low especially against Nene, Kenyon Martin, and Chris Anderson. All 3 are some of the best defensive big men in the league, but Tyson Chandler lives off offensive rebounds and lobs as we all know. All-star David West should struggle against the Nuggets, but like always he will pull through. Carmelo should really dominate with the likes of Peja or Butler, but with Posey coming off the bench, I honestly believe that Melo won't be putting up the same #s as of late. Billups has an obvious size advantage on Paul, but CP3 has always been that scrappy guy who will frustrate you. Even against an experienced PG who limits his TOs and play strong defense, Chris Paul has shown time and time again that he is this league's most dominant Point Guard and will do well in a match-up against any other guy in the league. A very important factor to the Hornets is whether the 3 ball drops. Peja, Butler, Posey, and even Paul can all shoot from downtown, but the success of shots behind the arc has proven crucial for Hornet's victories. Peja has been one of the most inconsistant players in the league having some terrible nights then bouncing back and stunning the basketball world, but like past playoffs, he puts up big numbers when his team needs it most. Denver will put up a fight, but in the end the Hornets should pull through.
