It's interesting.

Dallas gets a win in the "Playoff experience" column so they can make this one interesting.

This will be Denver's trial by fire. They need to prove to themselves and the rest of the NBA that they're ready to take on the Lakers.

I think that Denver has too much for Dallas though. Down the stretch of the season, Dallas looked good. However, they only looked good against bad teams. Spurs were not the same championship caliber Spurs, so in essence, Dallas didn't really beat The Spurs. I'm looking at depth versus weapons.

The Denver Nuggets have a lot more weapons than the Dallas Mavericks. Mavs can counter that with depth. Jason Terry, a former starter, won sixth man of the year honors. Dallas has that deep of a bench. I'm torn between weather Denver can handle the pressure of the second round, I know Chauncey's led a team to the finals, but will the rest of the guys deliver? If the Nuggets are firing on all cylinders they'll take this in six. If the Nuggets sputter, they'll win in seven. I don't see the Mavericks winning this series.

I know the Nuggets swept the Mavericks this year.. but theres not a chance thats happening in this series. I really do think the Mavs are going to win.. but I also really think this is going 7. So in conclusionI may have to give the benefit of home-court in game 7 to Denver.

Nuggets in 6, Dallas has the experience, Billups may be able to take Kidd out early like we did with Paul, K Mart and Nene need to step up for Dirk.

dirk has good size advantage on martin, and dirk will go pass nene, i dont think theres good matchups this series for the nuggets, dampier is a real big body so nene will have to stick him.

I say Denver in 5 because of how they dominated Dallas in the post season, but I think Dallas will at least take game 3, they've been playing better than they have in the regular season.

No, I think the Mavs showed good last night, but they won't be able to beat Denver in Denver twice. It'll be a game longer than it should have been.

Could have but luckily we won't have to suffer through another Mavs WCF blow-up. IF they did happen to get past the Lakers? This is a team that couldn't handle the Heat in the finals. What makes you think that this roster made up of primarily guys from that 05-06 season have what it takes to play the Cavs/Celts/Magic?
