I think Carolina wins with the run game, keeping 3rd down situations short so the Giants pass rush can't wreak havoc. Panthers defense looking pretty good.

I hate both of teams. I'll go with the Giants for obvious reasons though.

Well if they do win - they're obviously not going to win because of their passing game, lol.

If the Giants D shows up, I don't see us losing - which i'm assuming they will; since it'll be the 1st regular season game played at the new stadium. Also, if Brandon Jacobs remembers how to keep his feet moving, we should have a decent pass/run game.

P.S. Antrel Rolle is good for 2 INT's in this game.

i think the Giants are a reborn team after last year's debacle, so they should be able to win this game if the defense shows up and is able to stop or at least slow down Carolina's running game.

Giants have a lot of question marks, mostly on defense and the o-line.

Panthers offense looked abysmal in the pre-season, but the defense looked pretty good.

I don't have a prediction, just hope my Panthers win.

If the Panthers passing game shows up then they should have a good chance to win the game. Last year the back up running back had over 200 yards on the Giants so hopefully with both guys back there they can do even more damage.

This is true, but the team we have on the field this year is much much better than the one from 2009/2010. The signings of Antrel Rolle and Keith Bulluck. Kenny Philips, Boley, Bernard, Canty are all healthy, Shawn Andrews (a starter on any other team) - we can now keep the DE's fresh throughout games (Tuck, Osi, Kiwanuka, JPP, Tollefson).

If we can keep the 1st string on the field we'll be fine. Last year we were plagued with injuries on defense.

Yea I am going to pick the team that didnt even score one offensive Touchdown in Pre Season. Last in the preseason in passing yards per game, last in total yards per game and last in points per game.

I am not concerned other than the React defense Fewell put in place. Last time we tried something similar with was with Tim Lewis. But Fewell's defense has proven to work in other places.

Surprised Alford got cut. I heard Andre Brown was tentative on special teams, that's why he was released.

One of the commentators of the Patriots - Giants preseason game said of the 53 men supposedly making the Giants team that 39 of them had some type of injury.

The Giants Defense as a whole is a mess. Every since Spags left we can't produce a consistent pass rush with a solid line. Pass coverage is terrible and the LBs....who are they?

Short Yardage running is a concern. The only positives are Eli, the Rec Corp, and Bradshaw. Other than that the Giants better win this game otherwise we are looking at a sub .500 season.
