I can't quite figure out the 49ers. But that's ok cuz I don't think they've figured themselves out, yet, either.

They have ability, but the coaching has been so inconsistent this year that it's impossible to have any faith in the team. It's like they either want to run Gore 25 times or have Smith throw 40 times and there is no in between. Throw in some atrocious play-calling and you have a recipe for WTF.

The 49ers physically dominated the Cardinals in week 1 so they can win this game.

I think it'll be close but Warner is the hottest QB in the league and the Cardinals OL manhandled the Vikings DL last week so I gotta give them the win.

Another week of Warner hanging onto the ball too long, due to the WRs lack of speed and route running abilities. It's clear as day, how you beat this football team.. It's clear as day how you beat Kurt Warner, always has been - You disrupt his ability to throw the football on time, and you win. He's always been a quick release guy, who has the best timing of any quarterback I have ever seen play the game... and yes, for that to work, he has to have some help at the WR position.

Arizona simply does not have the WRs to run this style of offense on a consistent basis.

I am way too spoiled by Holt/Bruce and Faulk. No, they didn't carry that team or Kurt Warner, but they were good enough to run the style of offense that Kurt Warner runs. I talked a lot of shit about those three guys, which was clearly a bait on my part, so just let me say this - There is no comparison between the players Warner had with the Rams, and the ones he has in Arizona... Torry Holt/Issac Bruce were twice as good as Fitzgerald/Boldin. That's why I'm so impressed with Kurt Warner at this stage of his career, because he's winning games with less talent around him. But if Kurt Warner isn't allowed to throw the ball on time, Arizona will not win games.

And I'm not talking about the oline either.
