This is a tough one. That Mike Martz offense is looking nice. Green Bay's been good. I'm real uncertain, so I'm taking Chicago because of Julius Peppers. Haha. Of all the players.

This is the game that could skyrocket Martz's comeback as an NFL head coach, which is something Bears fans are in denial about. It's all about becoming an NFL head coach, not coaching under Lovie Smith, who is one of the most overrated head coaches in the NFL.

I can really see this game going either way. If AROD and the rest of the offense shows up and plays up to their potential or at least how they did in the second half of the Buffalo game the Bears have no chance. If they don't and the Packers defense is on the field too much it will go the other way and the Bears could win big.

We shall see Monday night.

This game should all come down to the passing game. The big defensive stat though:

Packers Pass YPG: 3rd
Bear Pass YPG: 27th

Packers run defense has struggled but it's easy to struggle against McCoy and Vick in week 1 when you can't gameplan for it. The three headed monster in Buffalo isn't easy to stop either but we controlled them for most of the game.

Big story for the Packers this week will be Brandon Jackson. Bears have the #1 rush defense so far this season when it comes to YPG. Facing the struggling Cowboys and the Lions isn't exactly good competition though. Packers should see if they miss Grant or not this week and if they need to pursue a better back through a trade, someone like Marshawn Lynch.

Prediction: Packers 31, Bears 20

That stat really isn't big at all. GB played Philly where Kolb started for a full half and didn't complete shit and then they played the high-powered Buffalo passing game. I wouldn't put that much stock into their pass defense yet.
Chicago played against the Dallas pass offense as well as the Lions offense which is better than both Philly (with Kolb at QB for a half) and Buffalo's.

I love how you bring up a big stat when it favors the Packers but when a stat favors the Bears its, "isn't exactly good competition"

Primetime.. I like how you point out the stat that favors the packers the most. Then you pull out a favorable Bear stat, saying they are #1 in Rush defense. but then pretty much say it doesnt mean shit when they played two week rushing teams.

I agree Buffalo is nothing but a below average passing team, but look at the Eagles passing attack this season. You're going to take away from the Packers because they injured the Eagles #1 QB? Eagles have been great through the air this season and the Packers were able to contain Vick and Kolb pretty well through the air, while trying to contain Vick in the run game, which was near impossible for us.

You're really arguing Kolb not completing shit in the first game was simply because he sucked it up? No. We were pressuring him like crazy, forcing bad throws, and making good plays. It was great pass defense, not shitty QB play.

I obviously have a bias for the Packers, I wouldn't be a good fan if I didn't. I was simply stating that I think the passing statistics were a much better stat than the rushing statistics. I don't think the Packers will be able to run, and I think Cutler will throw 2+ picks while getting hurried throughout the game. Personally, I find the latter prediction to be more valuable to a team's performance.

I just don't think the Bears rush defense doing well this season is as much a factor because the Packers won't be looking to run the ball much. Rodgers should be picking apart the Bears secondary instead.

The Jersey/B vs. Fish game was close (Brandon Marshall :wub: ) but this one will be better.
