At least the Packers will suit up more starters on defense this week. This is the only reason I have a glimmer of hope this week in picking Green Bay. Matthews, Pickett and Chillar are all expected to play. Decisions on Harris and Bigby will be made tomorrow, but it sounds like they have both looked good in practice and are ready to go.

Add Mike Neal to the list of Packers players on IR. It looks like the promising rookie DT/DE will be put on IR tomorrow when Al Harris is activated off the PUP list. There is also a chance Brady Poppinga will be placed on IR as well.
Mike Neal will be the sixth player on IR for the Packers, joining Jermichael Finley, Ryan Grant, Nick Barnett, Morgan Burnett, and Justin Harrell.
Imagine what they could be if they were all healthy!

I am looking forward to seeing Four Inch Favre frowning tomorrow night. I work 12-7:30 on sundays, but got approval for a half day from my Vikings fan supervisor. going so far as to wash down a couple cans of mickeys at my place for some pregame then heading out to the bar with my people. biggest game of the year for me.
Packers really need the win on this one to save the sinking ship, Vikings lose and they are done.
I still have yet to see a huge game from Rodgers. guy has nice stats, and I take him over 75% of the other starters in the league, but when I wait for that moment of super clutchness, when he needs to come through and get a big touchdown drive, its just not there yet. I hope he shows me something I havent seen.
