Pros: The coaching staff has opened the playbook for a second week in a row and it is paying off. Josh is showing he can handle it, he isnt a game manager so them scrapping that mode of playcalling is allowing him to flourish. He is developing chemistry with Vjax.

Vincent Jackson is showing he is worth every cent, wish he would have scored that damn TD though

Our run D is awesome



Cons: Pass defense was absolute shit today, couldnt get off the field on third downs and allowed far too many splash plays.

The one series of playcalls on the 1st goal after that huge Vincent Jackson catch and run. 4 straight run plays, just fucking horrible. Outside of that the offesnive gameplan was near flawless but that was unacceptable, getting nothing out of that drive.

Playcalling on 3rd down. Why would we continue giving Brees all the time in the world bringing a 3 man rush? Big reason we couldnt get off the field.

Titans

Pros:
-

Don't care if it was the worst run defense in the league, incredible performance by :cj2k:. Hit his holes, flashed off that speed from 2009 and pretty much single-handily carried the Titans to a win.
- Jason McCourty's interception, Kameron Wimbley's sack/fumble and Jordan Babineaux 4th down hurry. Only three positives on the defensive side of the ball.
- Matt Hasselbeck's throw to win it. Looked off the safety and couldn't have put it in a better spot.

Cons
- Jerry Gray. Maybe the worst defense in the league when Colin McCarthy isn't on the field. It's amazing how much better they played last week with McCarthy out there in comparison to today. Colin might be one of the most important players in the league already, lol.
- Hasselbeck is still nothing more than a solid back-up now. Couldn't really create and make many big throws against a bad D and missed Kenny Britt on a deep pass that most NFL QBs would have made.

A win's a win, but man...get well soon Locker and McCarthy. You guys are needed.

Pros
1) Defense played well enough to win despite the injuries. We are missing linebackers, defensive lineman, and defensive backs, but we played well enough against the Rams.
2) Receivers didn't drop passes, which was really starting to irk me. This resulted in Rodgers going 30/37. Which also ties in to my next point:
3) Rodgers is throwing accurately again.
4) Cobb is what Percy Harvin wants to be when he's not injured. Unbelievable. Great hands (that touchdown catch was jizz-worthy), quick cuts, always fighting for that extra yard, plus a great kick returner. Thought he had potential when we drafted him, but nothing like how good he's become.

Cons
1) Hawk can't play in coverage at all. Always a step behind
2) B.J. Raji still isn't back. We miss his force in the middle, though we did a decent job of replacing him today.
3) Alex Green has his moments, but he's not quick enough. His cuts are way too slow, and it results in 0-yard gains a lot. He's pretty fast though and can hit a hole when it's directly in front of him.

where do I begin
The Dline was TERRIBLE. Steelers OL is mostly backups and Ben had ALL FUCKING DAY to throw the ball.
Secondary was as advertised, awful. When opposing QBs have time to throw this secondary gets shredded
Marvin Lewis challenged a 2 yard gain in the second half of a close game...wasting a timeout in the process. Typical Marvin.
Playcalling was ATROCIOUS. Dalton threw 2 passes ALL GAME over 15 yards. We have explosive receivers, but don't like to use them?. AJ had 1 catch, smfh.
Down 7 with the ball with 4 mins to go...2 runs up the middle for no gain, then a desperation heave to AJ. good god what the fuck.
3 losses in a row heading into the bye.

pros - new owner...weeden looks like a real QB. josh cooper is a nice player and our own little wes welker. josh gorden is the real deal. greg little caught a pass today despite bobbling it first
Dee really stepped up in the 2nd half

cons - defense was getting picked apart in the first half. TRich doesnt seem to want to hit the holes. its not his injury either because this has been an issue all year. TRich also got hurt again and had 8 runs for 8 yards. No real opportunities for hardesty.
Josh Gordon dropped the go ahead TD with 6 minutes to go. the drops are beyond bad.

next play was 4th and 1 on about the indy 45. shurmur calls TO and we think its to discuss the playcall only to come out in punt formation...not only did they not go for it, they wasted a TO to punt the ball. that TO came back to hurt us later in the game.

Most teams do that. They probably had no plans to run a play, but came out to go with the hard count to try and draw the defense offsides. When it got down to the last seconds on the play clock, then they called timeout and went to punt the ball.

PROS
- Kerley continues to step it up, he's making big plays out there on the field and has thrusted himself to one of Mark's favorite targets, kid is slick and quick, a huge asset to the offense.
- The defensive youth movement is in effect. Mo Wilk is a monster down there, and Coples continues to show he's going to be a big time player. Add in Demario Davis and now Marcus Dowtin at LB and we're shying away from our slow LB's...these fast kids are getting in there and doing a damn good job.
- Trufant on Welker...did a damn good job, the whole secondary has been solid out there.
- Sanchez made some key plays and led the team down the field.

CONS
- Defense couldn't get off the field at times, need to tighten up there
-Sanchez giveth, and taketh away...a few costly turnovers out there.
- Stephen Hill is a big time talent but that drop was BRUTAL...should have caught that and would have wasted some more time off the clock.
- After that fumble, the offense went into the fetal position...U CAN'T DO THAT AGAINST BRADY...of course Brady easily drives them down the field for the tying FG.
- The 1st down runs were mega fail yet Sporano kept going to them, they have to try something different...still wanna see McKnight more in the backfield...he just makes things happen.
