I'm hoping this will be a great series, definitely unique imo.
I have no idea who to pick for this series. LA has been just ripping it up, and the way they handed Vancouver and St. Louis in 9 total games makes me lean in their direction. Considering 2 points is basically the difference between Phoenix getting the third seed and 8th seed, the seeding really means shit all nothing. I'll have to go with LA, but something tells me this is going to be a beauty series to watch, and the winner of this is taking the cup.

Ehh, I was going to comment on it, but the whole thing was self-explanatory. Like you said, they lost control and started playing wreck-less.
I've sadly stopped watching a lot of games now mainly due to it being the summer and I'm not getting home till well into the second periods of most games but I've found a lot of the games boring for some reason. It looks like the dead puck era out there.

I was going to comment, but usually when I say something like that in this it forum I get flamed for "not knowing hockey" or being told that either "thats how the Coyotes play" and "that had no effect on the game".
For whatever reason, the Coyotes don't seem to have that little bit of finesse/class, and the Kings are handling them pretty easily.
Coyotes were in this game a lot more than they were in the first two. They pounded shots (not "good" ones mind you) on Quick in the first, but the depth of LA just out did them. Thing to remember is, only two points seperated these two in the season. If the Coyotes didn't go on a five game winning streak at the end, LA would have been in third, and this "magical run" would never have happend. LA was my dark horse team to win it all, and I actually predicted at the start of the season they would make the cup finals...though I had them losing to Tampa lol.

Most think it has something to do with the layoff between the series, and it's the same in the other sports as well. We will have to see, but I don't think the Coyotes will be swept and can still put up a fight.
