I know it was just one game but damn the Spurs whipped the dog (or is it bear?) shit out of the Grizzlies yesterday. Randolph didn't have a goal until well into the 4th quarter. I don't think there was a single facet of the game where the Spurs didn't dominate.

Nobody in San Antonio is going to get too excited though because everybody remembers being up 2-0 going into OKC in last years WCF. I still look for the Spurs to win in 6 and this was a good start.

As good of a win as it was.. All the Grizz really have to hope for is a split in SA. Not to mention they've trailed both series they eventually dominated 1-0. (Or 2-0 in the case of the Clippers series).

I know it doesn't have anything to do with the Spurs on the court but it looks like Tim Duncan's wife Amy filed for divorce in San Antonio a few weeks ago. He filed yesterday to postpone the proceedings until after the playoffs complete. The word from the local media is that Tim had been suspicious of Amy being up to something this past fall and hired a PI to see if he had anything to worry about. Turns out that Amy was having an affair with her former personal trainer, who is also the man she hired to run the gym that she opened earlier this year.

This makes Timmy's great season that much more impressive. He finds out his college sweetheart and the mother of his two young children is stepping out on him, his personal life is falling apart and he delivers one of the best seasons of his hall of fame career on the court.

From what I understand there was a pre-nup in place so I'm guessing there is a cap to what she can get based on the number of years that they were married. The real money will come down to who is the custodial parent of their children. If she gets the kids, she will get hundreds of thousands a month in support and possibly even their Yo MTV Cribs house in The Dominion to keep their kids in the lifestyle that she...I mean "the kids" have become accustomed.

I don't understand women. Duncan has got to be one of the nicest guys on the planet. Devoted to his family and provides enough money that even his children's children will never have to work a day in their life and the bitch is still stepping out on him.
