I'd trade for another vet. What they need in the draft is someone who has a chance of replacing Haynesworth. That defense went from top 10 to dead last in points allowed and next to last in total yards and place the bulk of the blame on the pass rush. I know their DC doesnt like to blitz, but the front 4 isnt getting pressure and the secondary is being exposed because of it. The titans are giving up 110 more passing yard per game this year than last. Their offense is actually averaging more yds per game than last year (they arent scoring as much but some of that is on the D as well). A newfangled rookie QB is not the answer to this teams woes. Without some major defensive improvements, it would take the second coming of Peyton Manning or Dan Marino to get this team back in the playoff hunt.

I'm not saying I disagree with the concept of their defense being their biggest achilles heel....but Kerry Collins and Vince Young combined went 2 for 14 for -7 yards and two interceptions against the Patriots. I dunno if you noticed, but the defense was on the bench when that happened.

At this point, I think it's pretty clear that the Titans have all but given up on even trying to make Young their future QB. What I don't understand is why Young isn't taking the snaps at this point. The season is a loss, accept it. Collins needs no development, you already know what he is. Throw Young in there, see what happens.

For offense, get rid of Heimendinger and get a good OC that actually realizes what this offense is made to do - run the ball most of the game and let the quarterback throw 20 times instead of 30+. That's the main reason why our quarterbacks have looked like shit. It helps that one's 643 years old and the other one got a -5632850 on his Wonderlic though.

And draft Dan 'I have' LeFevour in the second or third round.

Exactly. Even with the terrible coaching they've had this year, when they've came out motivated and wanting to play, they've almost won games (Steelers, Texans, Jets). Right now it seems like Bulluck and CJ are the only two players that want to play football right now, and that's what's tearing this team apart.

Granted, but that was hardly a good indication of the offensive performance this year. Yes, they need a QB if they're gonna get back to the level they were at last year but their defense has looked absolutely atrocious all year. But ya, this season is a loss a this point, I dont see why they dont let VY get some snaps and see if he can find some sort of rhythm or get something going offensively

Nick Harper and Cortland Finnegan have been injured for the majority of the the year this year so they do need corner help. I don't think Harper should really be a starter anymore and they need better depth so when a couple injuries occur their defense doesn't totally tank.

It's not Haynesworth. He's a small part of the problem, yes, but he's not the complete reason from having one of the best defenses to one of the worst this season. It's the fact we lost Jim Schwartz and Chuck Cecil has no clue what the fuck he's doing.

They need to give Vince some PT to see what's the right answer. Because, right now, he's sitting on the bench and I'm not sure whether Collins is running them into the ground, but he sure isn't running them into the endzone. They're 0-6 and got shut-out by 59 against the Pats. That's ridiculous.

If they give him a shot and he doesn't look good, they can pick up Tarvaris and maybe draft somebody in rounds 2-5. . . If he looks good, draft somebody round 5-7.
