Was watching the thundercats cgi , and trailers for other cgi/animated cartoons and it hit me. Voice actors today suck ass.

The one thing that really made old cartoons unique was the incredibly unique voices. Megatron , Soundwave , Cobra commander, Optimus Prime , Panthro , Lion O , Shipwreck , Mummra , Slythe etc... I mean if you ever watched those cartoons those voices are etched in your head.

The 90s had some decent ones. Spiderman , Batman were decent. Joker on Batman was AAA.

Only current voice thats bad ass is the guy who does the voice for Bender/Marcus Fenix from Gears of War.

Clearly these Toons arent aimed at me but everyone sounds like a cranky teen or a doofy 25 yr old trying to sound 50.

There are still solid cartoons out there. Cartoon Network has hit more than missed on their original animated stuff, they just need to stop importing all of those shitty Canadian cartoons. I can't defend Nickelodeon, however. After they hit on Spongebob they slowly stopped trying. They haven't been shit since the early 2000s.
