Its kinda wierd and can see why they never kept those types of jerseys around.

A store in our area blew out a bunch of authentic CCM sweaters about 10 years ago. Sweaters that cost about $100-120 were going for $20-40. I availed myself of the special with much gusto.

About 15 percent of my closet consists of:

Wings white sweater (my name - back when I thought it'd look cool to have my name on a real sweater)
Canadiens red sweater (my name)
Bruins black sweater circa early '90s (Bourque 77)
Sabres old white sweater, circa early '90s (my name)
Caps white sweater, the old-school log (Ciccarelli)
Blackhawks white sweater (my name)
Sharks original teal sweater (my name)
Coyotes original white sweater (blank)
Leafs white sweater, circa 1993 (blank)
Islanders white sweater, circa 1993 (my name, with 1993 Cup Centennial patch)

Shit, what else? I must be missing something.

Always wanted a Rangers white sweater with the proper drop-shadow lettering and numbering. Haven't bought a hockey sweater in years. I mean, do I really need more? I don't even wear them very often. When I go to hockey games, I'm usually working them as a sports writer, so wearing a sweater (i.e. jersey, as opposed to a cardigan or something) isn't very professional.

I've lived in Calgary for a while, but spent most of my life in Northern AB. Can't change allegiances. Calgaryballer was a terrible idea I had when I first discovered message boards, but at this point it's too late to change
