Quarterback:

Matt Schaub- Over the years the Texans have been known for having bad QB play but Schuab has changed that and if he and all of his WR's stay healthy the Texans will have one of the best passing attacks in the NFL.


Runningback:

Steve Slaton is a speedster with great acceleration and elusiveness, and without a doubt the best RB Houston has had. In the Madden World he's like a rookie version of Willie Parker.

Wide Receivers:

Andre Johnson
Andre Davis
Kevin Walter
Owen Daniels

In the past it was all about Andre Johnson and teams would just commit more to him with the double team. But that no longer is going to be easy with the other threats Houston now posses.

This year I think Houston is going to have one of the best offenses in the game.

Upgrade: Matt Forte should be even better in next years game, giving me a lot more to look forward to on offense, the addition of the wildcat would give me the ability to get him behind the center like the bears did for a little bit last year.

Greg Olsen(more receiver than a TE)


Upgrade: The bears are going to have to pick up a WR in the draft, more than likely, if Heyward Bey is around , they will pick him up, no matter who they get, the bears receiving unit is going to get better.


Defense

We got rid of Mike Brown, giving Mcgowan, Payne, Steltz, and maybe Manning something to fight for, it will be a worse defense in madden, but probably a better defense in real life. Tillman and Vasher are going to get pretty big downgrades IMO, so are corners are not going to be as good, they will be more easy to throw on. The defensive line should get better with Dusty D at DT, he should be a lot better next year, look for the bears to be more a run stop team next year.

Charlie Batch
Dennis Dixon

Big Ben should get some madden god love with some accuracy and maybe even some speed to move around in the pocket and scamble. Since he was so clutch when he needed to be i would think his awareness will go up some. I use Dixon in a few Vick type plays this year as he has good speed, but his arm was junk so I will just use good old Charlie if Ben gets hurt.

Upgrade: Ben will have elite status

Running Backs:
Willie Parker
Rashard Mandenhall
Melwelde Moore
Gary Russell

Parker will still be the fast outside runner that he awlays has been and with Mendenhall coming off of injury we might get a power running game back. Russell showed promise IRL as that get a yard guy and Moore is great as a 3rd down back.

Upgrade: none

Wide Reciever
Santonio Holmes
Hines Ward
Limas Sweed

With the loss of Washington to FA, Sweed will have to play the slot. He can't catch a fucking cold IRL, and I think the ratings will reflect his inability to haul it in. Hines is getting old and his speed will definetly take a hit, but his hands and ability to get 1st downs on 3rd should mean hstill has great route running and hands. Holmes will be the #1 and after getting Super Bowl MVP he should get some love. He is already fast, but adding some boosted catch and route runnign ratings will make him a beast.

Upgrade: I hope they find a good slot guy in the offseason or maybe Sweed will gets some hands...

Defense:
The only loss so far is CB Bryant McFadden, but if we let him go, Gay must be about ready to start. Ike Taylor is becoming a shut down corner and with the rest of the D returning this should be one of the best D's on Madden.

Upgrade: With Townsend being so slow and long inthe tooth, a good fast young corner to play opposite Ike would nice.

Overall: If the o-line gets it together this offense could be nasty and combined with that bad ass D could be one of the most used teams ton madden 10.

Do you watch football or pay attention to what people say? Slaton is a good madden RB, with great speed, the line is getting better, Walter had a very good year, Davis is good in the slot...and Johnson is a monster, the defense will be getting upgrades too

no. 1 reciever? Have you not heard of Owen Daniels, Kevin Walter or Andre Davis...........
They're just going to make Andre Johnson even better now that he won't be constantly double teamed.

Slaton might not be the best out there but on any play he can show signs of greatness and take it to the house.

Matt Schaub is more than decent when all of his WRs are there with him.

Campbell can get the job done in Madden. He remindes me of a cheap McNabb. Avg. speed, strong arm, avg. accurcy.

Clinton Portis
He should be a 92+ rated RB this year with the season he had. I just wish we had a change of pace back. Either someone fast as hell or someone who can truck.

WRs
S. Moss
A. Randel El
D. Thomas
M. Kelly
J. Thrash
All WRs with a 90+ speed which spd kills on Madden. But with this new system who know how well fast avg. WRs will be.

TE
C. Cooley is a beast enough said.
F. Davis big tall fast a good Madden TE

DEFENSE
The D is solid all around with one of the best secondarys in the game. I look forward to see what rating they will give FS Chris Horton with the update he was decent.

Addition
Albert Hayesworth - DAMN! Hopefully in 10 dominate DT will have a major factor in the passing game. In 09 it was not how it really is in the NFL.
Losses
Jason Taylor- DAMN! In real life I could careless but in Madden that MF'er was a beast. With him n Hayesworth together I was like oh shit it's on but JT wanted to be an a-whole and not attend pratice.
HOPES
DRAFT - I hope we can get B. Orakpo. we need a monster on the Dline but if not I'll settle for a LB out of USC.
