What's next for Nog and Nate?

I still think they give it to Hendo before Nate, Nates KO was awesome, but Hendos' was for America and at UFC 100, plus it was hyped with an entire season of TUF

It will be Hendo vs Silva or Hendo vs Nate, I dont think Nate can jump over Dan

While in a "true sports" world I would agree with this, from a business perspective, I think they need to capitolize on Nate's big KO right now, before the luster wears off. Hendo can get his shot later, he's an established star, plus he already has the built in storyline of seeking revenge. With Nate, you strike while the iron is hot. Hendo gets the winner.

A #1 contenders fight between Nate & Hendo just eliminates one as a contender, and thus you only get one match out of this dilema instead of two.

I think it depends on the Machida/Shogun fight, if Shogun wins than Silva will go for the title, if Machida wins he fights at MW

True, he isnt keen on rematches, and both Nate & Hendo fit that bill.

I think there is business in both of those fights, though. Silva is saavy, and he heard the reaction to Marquardt last night. And he knows Hendo is also at the peak of his UFC stardom right now.

Good point on the LHW situation, though. Hadnt thought of that.

why does white hate him? what happened after cro cop's last fight was just a misunderstanding. if he hated him that much why would he sign him to a three fight deal after all that happened? if most any fighter wins in unimpressive fashion they arent getting a big fight.

Not a misunderstanding. Cro Cop played both sides against each other, plus Dana didn't want him to fight Al Turk to begin with. Cro Cop turned down the two other fights Dana wanted him to take, both of which were designed for Cro Cop to lose.

Dana is a promoter, he promoted Tito for years despite not liking him. Same here. He thinks Cro Cop can make him money, so he'll book him.

Cro Cop is not a Dana favorite, I think he is still pissed he gave Cro Cop the biggest UFC contract to date and got his head knocked off and was never motivated to fight

He would love for CC to lose to a guy like Cain

Anderson Silva is not going to fight for the title at LHW and I doubt that Dana is going to let him put the MW title on hold for that long. His next fight has to be at MW and it's the perfect time for it, he's coming off of a high profile fight in which he looked amazing and both Dan and Nate had great performances in their last fight as well. This is the perfect time for the UFC to actually be able to turn in some good numbers off of Silva at MW.

Now either of those would be big fights, so I'd be interested to see what they have to say after last night. But, Anderson is not Joe Silva. You can't leave the MW title in limbo for more than a year.
