The correct answer is the TV version of Ferris Bueller, starring some guy who's other major claim to fame was almost being cast as the voice of Fry in Futurama and a pre-Friends Jennifer Aniston.

May God have mercy on the souls of those men who greenlit this trainwreck. Probably the same NBC monsters who let that crime against humanity, Chuck, go on for 6 seasons.

You sir are insane.

The first few eps were rough but by seasons ends there were some fantastic episodes. Some individual scenes were as good as the movies. 90% took place between John/Reese/Cameron. Easy to miss with Sarah stinking up the screen for far too long.

Starman was terrible. The movie didn't really lend itself to being a TV show, because the movie had a defined beginning and end. The fact that Robert Hays was cast as the lead role should have been a red flag.

I am amazed at how many crap projects Patrick Dempsey has been involved with. His body of work is putrid.
