-Famous for running an offense that relies on defensive / special teams scoring.

Scott played QB for my high school...Turner actually came in to the bookstore I worked at senior year of HS, when he was with the Skins. Almost directed him to the 'Football for Dummies' book, but was advised against it by my boss. Damn lost opportunities...

Hear what Lorenzo Neal has to say about Norv?

Lo Neal just said that Turner may have lost his leader.

Neal says that's not Dean's call, or AJ's call...Neal said that's all Turner. Should have never happened putting Sproles in for LT, and wants to see Turner held accountable for that play call and the way the season is going. Neal also addressed the regression of the team under Turner. Saying its the same players and the results are very different especially on defense.

Neal says the team is fragile right now and he does not see how they bounce back. Neal must have spoken with LT, because it sounds like irreparable damage between LT and Turner now. Suggested that Turner meet with LT in his office and explain what he really thinks about him around the goal line. Neal is describing it as the "fall of a great team". Turner has lost his lockerroom as well.

They were at worst "decent" until Turner took over. Right before Turner, they had some good players like Simeon Rice and Kevin Hardy.

At the time, I couldn't believe Illinois hired Ron Turner, and he single-handedly destroyed the program. He had no high school recruiting contacts, he had never been a HC at any level, he didn't have his own assistants, it was a huge mistake.

2. Repeat
3. If steps 1-2 doesn't work: Play Action fade to the TE
4. If steps 1-3 doesn't work: Field Goal

If you want your WRs to run the same routes and have incredibly predictable play-calling, then hire Ron Turner.

My dream of seeing NORVIN and Ron coach on the same squad keeps getting closer every day. Too bad it'll be a CFL team. If the Chargers have this guy as their coach opening day next year auto-write them off.

He doesn't have it in him. You saw how nervous and frantic he was when he ran out to that pile on that kickoff. He's unreliable under pressure and that permeates through their whole team.
