Who Do You Consider the Greatest MMA Fighter of All-Time?

With the way the game has evolved it's too hard to compare fighters from different eras and entirely different orgs with different rules and different competition. But Imma go with Anderson Silva anyway.

What have you done for me lately ?

I love And1 as much as anyone. But Fedors streak was insane.

And1 honestly reminds me of Roy Jones JR thought. Utterly dominant but there simply werent guys at 185 who had the name of the other divisions. Alot of it has to do with And1 murdering them all. But there simply is no Cro Cop , Big Nog , Coleman ,Fedor even easy to forget lighter guys like Lindland , Babalu ,Arona.

Thats alot of big names to trounce without dancing , and without losing for 9 and a half years.

I think the biggest points for And 1 are Forrest and Vitor.
You have the former champ 1 fight removed in a weight class above you.
You have a guy whos speed and hands would have been argued best in class and was once the heir apparent back to dominant form.
He dismantled them like they were infant children. In between that a clutch 5th round sub ?

It really is a two dog race.
For shame no Sakuraba to pick from though.

Greatest resume and greatest fighter aren't the same thing IMO.

For his time, nobody dominated like Royce Gracie, who you could compare to Don Hutson in that regard. But in reality, it could have been any number of BJJ practitioners doing the same things, it's just that they chose him as the ringer for UFC 1.

The most well rounded and dominant fighter I have ever seen in GSP, followed closely by Anderson Silva, and then Fedor. What sets GSP apart, is at his peak (right now), he doesnt even lose rounds. He doesnt even lose parts of rounds. Fedor, even during his amazing run, was dominated for stretches. Silva was dominated by Sonnen for 4 1/2 rounds. GSP was flash KO'd by Serra and hasnt been challenged for a single second of his prime since.

Doesnt him winning by lay and praying to decision in almost every fight since that KO seem less impressive than just going out and obliterating guys ?
In 10 years of playing other peoples game and pretty much toying with defeat Fedor came out on top each and every single time. No fluke losses no weird moments of looking scared to engage and certainly no dancing and taunting a guy because you were scared to get sub'd.

Do you see GSP and And 1 not losing for another 3-4 years ?
Fedors losses were b2b and recent but they came after essentially a decade not 4-6 years like and1/gsp are in now.
