After 123, who do YOU want to see 'ol Rampage fight next?

As a fan I want to see Machida II.

As a matchmaker, give him the winner of the Bader/Jones and the winner gets a title shot.

I think Rampage vs Shogun is the best match in the division in terms of buys and how exciting the fight should turn out. So if Shogun wins I think that's the clear match to make, Evans winning would should change things since their first fight was a bore, but that would probably do good numbers as well.

An immediate rematch with Machida, why? There's too many good matches to make to keep doing the same ones over.

I don't think one win in a row should get him a title shot. I like him vs Bader/Jones as a step up in comp for both of them. If they win, they get the shot. If Rampage wins, he does

I think a rematch is appropriate because it was a close fight. Id expect both fighters to be a little more aggressive with one fight against the other under their belt, it SHOULD result in a better fight. I really wasnt disappointed with the fight last night tho, I thought it had decent action considering the amount of respect the fighters have for each other.

All about expectations. When I watch a WEC card I expect A LOT of fucking action.. thats what these little fuckers are supposed to do, have a ton of action. When you get a fight like Rampage/Machida you know that both fighters are going to be a bit cautious because of the respect they have for each other. Their were some fucking great spots in that match last night.. I would've shit my pants if Rampage pulled off the slam. Oh my..

We must've been watching different shows.. everyone I was with agreed they came away unimpressed. And like I said, 2 ppl LITERALLY fell asleep during Chad Mendes, which atleast is to be expected.

WEC is a ZUFFA product anyways.. so it doesnt really work. :smug: And im usually very happy with their product.

A lot of fights are close, can't rematch every time that happens.

I agree, I just think theres so much parity in that division that you really cant go wrong with doing a fight twice.

The only other alternative for me is for him to fight one of the young guys to try to elevate them, like the winner of Jones/Bader as has been suggested.

Rampage vs Shogun if he wins.

Loved the fight thought it was a bad decision. I like Machidas style so Im a bit biased. Too many immediate rematches being done.
Only reason Im against it is Machida already fought both Rashad/Shogun. Rather see an intriguing fight like Machida Bones Jones.
