This is how MMA has always done things. Maybe it's because the nature of training lends itself to more injuries than boxing, but you don't cancel major league MMA cards. You just don't.

cause they are still going to have to pay the fighters some money that they are not going to be able to afford with zero revenue from this show . this is it with affliction, they are done, might as well go out with a bang

Honestly, I would be surprised if Affliction survives beyond this PPV as a promotion. Makes me sad. Not sure if they would made a go of it beyond this, even with Barnett in the main event. But this pretty much seals it, I think.
