Who will succeed in the NFL?

Who are some guys in NCAA right now going onto the NFL that you think will succeed?

Hakeem Nicks showed today that he is going to be a very good WR in the NFL. I hope to dear lord the Bears go after him.

Vontae Davis CB Illinois- In my mind this guy is much better than Malcolm Jenkins. Physically no other corner in college football can touch him. But their is word that he gets into trouble which may hurt him.

Michael Johnson DE/OLD Georgia Tech- He is listed to be 6-7 260 pounds with 4.6 speed. Probably the most freakish athlete in the draft.

Vontae better than Jenkins is ridiculous, Vontae needs a lot of more time to turn into a good corner in the NFL. Jenkins is going to step in and make an impact his first season, I tend to disagree with that.

Michael Johnson has the look of a good player but has not shown up at ALL this season. He is a project and will need a good defensive coordinator to turn him into a player.

The best pass rusher I think to come out of this draft will be George Selvie out of South Florida. He is 6'4, 255 pounds. In USF's defense he was used as both a LB and a DE so coming into the league he can be either. I think he would fit perfect into a 4-3 defense so he can stand up and be a set lineman, having him as both options would be scary for opposing offenses.

Another guy who I think is very impressive is Rey Maualuga. He is the protypical middle linebacker. He is fast, strong and is a great anchor for a defense. I think he has all the skills necessary to come into a defense and make an impact.

Michael Crabtree - The top receiver in the nation is a draft eligible sophomore. He won his second straight Biletnikoff Award. Crabtree caught 18 touchdown passes and had 93 receptions for 1,135 yards in 2008.

Greg Harvey- Hardy (6' 4" 264 lbs) was injured early and only played in 8 games this season, but still managed an 9.5 TFLs and 8.5 sacks. Reminds me of the Cowboy's DeMarcus Ware.

I've been doing a lot of research as of late on the seniors in the draft and I came across one guy who really has me excited to watch in the NFL. I'm not saying he will be the best running back to come out of this class but I think he will be very good. I'm talking about Devin Moore, running back out of Wyoming. He is only 5'10 - 191 pounds, so obviously scouts will shy away from him due to his lack of bulk but he reminds me just as another Darren Sproles. He is very quick and elusive and if he finds a hole he can shoot right through it. He is also helpful in the kick return game where he can make a name for himself. In 2008 Devin rushed for 1,301 yards and 7 TD's, averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Devin is projected around a 3rd-4th round player, but I think he is the real sleeper in this draft.

Alphonso Smith CB - Wake Forest. I think he will be nice. I also think that Derrick Williams WR - Penn State will be good in the NFL. But I think Kenny Britt WR - Rutgers will be one of the better players in this draft class in the NFL.

Anthony Morelli always fucking sucked. Don't compare Nate Davis to him.

Definitely the two anchors of that BC defense. Both are first round material, probably high second. A healthy Toal could be right there with em, but the whole healthy part is never there.

Toal went to my high school. the guy is an incredible athlete but has trouble staying healthy. if he stays healthy next year, he'll be a hard guy to stop.

for the people i think will succeed, i definitely think kenny britt. im a rutgers fan so ive seen him play, and he definitely has NFL speed. i see him doing great on the next level. i also think knowshon moreno will do well. the guy may not have the skill set that you look for but his intensity is bar none.

No. Nate had a few bad games. Morelli had a shitty career.
I'd know since I suffered by watching him single-handily turn potential Big Ten champion teams to middle of the road teams.

Yeah Morelli was just a total joke of a QB, I live here in PA and could not stand watching him. Nate Davis actually shows signs of a good QB, and might pan into something, NFL scouts knew Anthony was shit.

Guys I would bet on having a good NFL career:
Knowshown Moreno, I really don't see the downside, he is the total package.

Aaron Curry, I see this guy coming out right away and having an impact for a team as a pass rusher, sort of reminds of Suggs in a way.

Malcolm Jenkins, I like the amount of experience he got in college, he played all 4 years... all 4 bowl games and played in the biggest rivalry in college football each year in and out. Good leader, can see him turning into an above average CB.

You may be right, but I just have a bad feeling about him. He seems the perfect mold for one of the guys that is a complete bust. If he was from Penn State it would be even more perfect...

im sorry but nate davis did not play against any "big teams" so why is he such a big player he played agianst IU woop diddy do. I bet if he was on any other team you would be saying the same thing about him. I mean im not a Morelli fan by any means. I think a lot of players now going into rookie year bring a new style and make NFL more interesting because look at the super bowls of the past seasons a lot of them were rookies i think NYG game had a lot of rookies playing dont really know but that was pretty cool that they just can come in and do that so im hoping a lot of rookies will make it.. Besides USCs QB haha

Lot of people round here for some reason think Pat White will be an amazing player. I disagree...I think he is more of a system quarterback, a term that someone used earlier. But everyone of my friends think he'll be amazing. Sure, he's good in college, but I don't think he'll transfer over all that well.

Are your friends all 14 and 15? Pat White will be a receiver in the NFL. Here comes a faster Patrick Crayton.

You can talk all you want about who played who in college. Nate Davis was in the MAC. Oh well, it happens. People come out of small colleges and are successful.

Davis has the mechanics to make it work, and the arm strength to impress the scouts. Morelli doesn't.
