Mr. 19-0 in December and beyond had a plus 19 turnover differential, better then everyone not named Rodgers, Favre or Brees. Here are some stats for you:
Quarterback A:
393-571, 68.8% passing, 4,500 yards passing, 7.9 Yards per attempt, 281.2 yards per game, 33 touchdowns, 16 INTS, 59 plays of 20 yards or more, 8 plays of 40 yards or more, 10 sacks, 99.9 QB rating
Quarterback B:
317-486 ,65.2%, 4,254 YDS, 8.8 YPA, 265.9 YPG, 28 TDs, 9 INTS, 64 plays of 20+ yards, 12 plays of 40+ yards, 25 sacks, 104.4 QB rating
Quarterback A is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, an easy first ballot Hall of Famer if he retired today who had the luxury of a solid offensive line along with weapons like Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark. Oh and he is also almost everyone's MVP candidate.
Quarterback B is one of the most perennially underrated quarterbacks who is considered a 'crybaby' by many VSN members who do not even have him in their top 5 QBs. He plays behind an offensive line that lost it's leader (Nick Hardwick) and who plays with two first year starters on the right side of the offensive line. The run game is the worst in the NFL and his only legitamate target going into this season was Antonio Gates.
If you were too stupid to guess QB A is Peyton Manning and QB B is Rivers. Not only does Rivers have a better TD to turnover ratio, he has a much better QB rating while being the main contributor to the Chargers offense. Also, he was sacked 15 more times then Manning with nearly 100 less attempts while still winning 11 straight games with a patchwork quilt of receivers.
Rivers main receivers down the stretch were Jackson, Chris Chambers (since released for his terrible hands) Malcolm Floyd and Legedu Naanee. Who?
Before you begin to type how Manning made Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon first consider this: Indy's offense was more tailored to the passing game and Manning is so good that his receivers just need to keep their hands up to catch a ball. However, in Rivers' case San Diego's offense was more tailored to the run game which obviously had to change with the horrid play of L.T. anywhere other then the red zone. Sure you say that Jackson is a star but does anyone remember that article at the start of the season posted asking who your top 10 receivers were? When V-Jack showed up on the list, people laughed saying there was no way he was better then guys like Wes Welker. Now look at him after he became Rivers' main receiver, he is the most sought after receiver in this upcoming free agent class and some prognistacators have even questioned if he'll be good with someone other than Phillip Rivers at quarterback.
In Malcolm Floyd's case he made the team as a slot receiver but after Chambers lack of hands, quickly became another 6'5 weapon for the Chargers in the Red Zone. He is another player who will be a free agent after this season and who has caught the attention of NFL GM's with his play.
Legedu Naanee? This is a guy who came into the league projected as a practice squad TE who lost weight and converted to WR. Naanee is my favorite receiver because he has sticky ass hands and runs great routes. He took Floyd's spot as the slot receiver and has been indispensable to Phillip Rivers.
Arguments? Let's here them.
Your time on VSN is like the Broncos season, finished.
OH SORRY, LULLZ

Tdot, would you care to bet on the Broncos winning the AFC West this year? Site ban, sig bet, whatever, it doesn't matter to me.
rooooooflll, I know that dumbfuck, but I GUARANTEE you that they will lose either a game against the Chiefs or the Skins game.
Chargers will win that game at Mile High because Norv knows his job will be on the line there.
And sure we can have whatever kind of bet you want but the Chargers will win the West, I smell a collapse for the Broncs
I'm your huckleberry bitch.
Loser gets IP perma banned from VSN. If the Broncos win the AFC West I win. If the Chargers win the AFC West you win.
I'm sending Rush a PM right now to make sure this bet is honored.
