Steelers have the experience, Broncos have home field.

Steelers struggle more against QB's who scramble. They were burnt numerous times this past Sunday by Seneca Wallace. So could Tebow win this game with his legs?

I think the key will be can the Broncos defense hold the Steelers offense (Mendenhall-less)?

I am somewhat worried about the Steelers, because they will be down both Mendenhall and Clark, but just look at Tebow's stats from this past week. Pittsburgh will most certainly put a spy on Tebow to contain him on the ground, and they still are one of the best at stopping the run. If the Broncos can't get McGahee going, it will be a long day for them.

I also don't think people realize how good the Steelers have become at passing the football. Mendenhall is a huge loss, don't get me wrong, but this is no longer a team that can't stretch the field like in years past.

It does help Denver that Mendenhall and Clark are out but regardless I still think Pitt is going to win. Tebow needs to play like he was earlier in the season. I basically mean playing not scared. He almost seems afraid to take off and run. The last few games instead of running forward and trying to get the 1st, he just backpedals. Also playcalling has to be better for them to have any chance at winning the game. Play calling has been atrocious. Some games were run run run all the 1st half then pass pass pass in the 2nd half when it was obvious to the other team.

As much as I like Mendenhall, he can certainly be a liability the way he runs the rock. Timmons will meet Tebow all game (FSU/UF). Clark is meeting with doctors but I don't think he will give it a go, I don't think we will miss him all that much. I would like to get up by a comfortable margin and rest Ben, try to get him back to where he can have some decent mobility (back to where he can extend plays)

at the end of the day it will be an ugly win, a win to keep playing

It's pretty sad that I had to go to the second page of the NFL Section to find this thread. As a Ravens fan I would like to see Denver take Pittsburgh out, as Pittsburgh always makes me nervous. I do believe Pittsburgh is going to win, but Big Ben being injured will be interesting. I don't see Mendenhall being out as an issue, as they don't really use him anyways. I wonder if Denver can get their defense back? If they can they could make this game interesting and a recipe (low scoring defensive game) for Tebow Time in the end.

As much as I love Ben, I wish we would rest him until we need him. He should have sat against San Fran until now. We don't need him to beat the Broncos either. Batch is a really good back up, let him give Ben time to heal a bit before we play a real team.
