Thieves in the Night... a classic. BlackStar kills it like they always do. One of my favorite Choruses of all time, and that goes for any song. Also has one of my favorite verses of all time as Mos Def kills it.

Donnie Bravo comes off with a darker side in this track.

I'm not knocking rap - you like what you like - but it's hardly diverse.

I don't listen to non-stop rap.

I've posted nothing but rap so far, maybe next time I do this I'll throw other shit in.

I grew up with a dad listening to N.W.A./ Bones Thugs and Harmony/ Fat Joe/ Ice Cube/ Snoop & Dre / Biggie.

My mom used to listen to 80's Hair Bands like Bon Jovi, Poison, Guns and Roses, and shit like that.

My Step-Dad listened to people like The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Talking Heads, Sublime... basically hippy music, and Punk music from the 80's.

I have 5 Uncles that I grew up around that ALL listened to Metal, and Rock like Judas Priest, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Motley Crue and so on...

My Grandparents both loved 50's music, and Country Music, like Elvis, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks...

This is the music I grew up around. I learned to enjoy it all. Now, that I'm older. I listen to mainly rap music. I still listen to other genres, it's just that I prefer rap over anything else, because of mixtapes, and the constant flow of new music that artists put out, over the Rock genre how they put out a 12 track album every 3 years, and you end up listening to the same shit over, and over. It gets stale quick for me.

lol sorta the same thing here. I have alot of things most would consider embarassing but I don't really care anymore. I have all types of female artist and shit the average 18 year black kid wouldn't be caught dead listening to lol.
