Will the Tennessee Titans Make the Playoffs?

In this scenario, we're gonna give the division crowns to New England (7-4), Cincinnati (8-3), Indianapolis (11-0), and San Diego (8-3). So, our wildcard race is:

Denver Broncos (7-4)
Jacksonville Jaguars (6-5)
Baltimore Ravens (6-5)
Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5)
Tennessee Titans (5-6)
Houston Texans (5-6)
Miami Dolphins (5-6)
New York Jets (5-6)

I find it hard to believe that they can win ten straight games...I'm gonna say they finish 8-8 or 9-7, and just miss out on the playoffs.

At 9-7, I can see it happening. I can see them getting in at 9-7 and them reaching that record. They can beat all those teams. The only team I can really see them losing to is Indy.

I think they will beat Indy and lose to San Diego. Depends on how the tiebreakers all fall together but they could make the playoffs at 9-7 and I don't know many teams that are looking forward to playing them right now.

Sunday @ 1:00 is their entire season. If they beat Indy, then they'll win out to put themselves in prime position for a Wild Card spot. If they lose, there's no chance. I just can't see a 9-7 team snatching that last spot, but then again VY almost did it in his rookie year.

Kinda funny that they won 10 games in a row last season before losing their first game, so they have what it takes to put that kind of streak together.

Vince Young has created all sorts of problems for defenses because now defenses can't just all rally toward Chris Johnson. Teams are now forced to keep backside contain and stay home which is why Johnson has been tearing it up for the last 6 weeks.

Anyone know if Freeney is going to play this week? I think Tennessee has a great shot at beating Indy because of the way that they've been running the ball and controlling the clock.

Manning has also cooled down a little bit as of late as he's thrown 7 INTs in the last 4 games, most of them coming early. If he continues that trend the Titans will have a great shot because they can run the ball and put long drives together to eat up clock and keep Manning off the field, especially since VY is such a threat on 3rd down.

Does anybody know what the Titan's 3rd down conversion percentage is since Young became the starter? NFL.Com has them ranked 8th in the league at 42% on 3rd down, but that's over the course of the entire season.

Would appear as if he is seeing as we just waived a Defensive End (Josh Thomas) . That or we finally saw just how bad he is (more likely Freeneys health)

Beating the Colts is nothing more then a confidence booster. It does absolutely zilch for them, as the Colts have already wrapped up the AFC South.

Miami will be playing the role of "playoff upset team." They still have games against Pittsburgh, and New England. Losing those will put them at 8-8, at best. Don't let Miami sneak up on the Titans and spoil their season. San Diego is more important because if it were to come down to a tie, with the Broncos winning the AFC West, they would hold the tie-breaker.

Beating Indy would be huge for the Titans, I don't know where you're getting this 'it does absolutely zilch for them' stuff. Last I checked it does count towards their overall record, and with the division already over with, 1 game makes a huge difference in the wild card race.

Beating the Colts in Indy would give them all kinds of confidence. I voted no but I do think they make it if they beat Indy.

Miami seem completely random as to who they beat at times. I also would rule out the Pats slipping up enough that they don't win the division.
