Rockets have to be the winners. They get Kevin Martin of course, but then you add young players like Hilton Armstrong and Jordan Hill, and a player that can play 3-5 and is great on defense (not so much on offense, and that contract :facepalm in Jeffries. Not to mention the option to swap draft picks with the Knicks next year and their pick in 2012. Their weakness was depth down low, and despite trading Carl Landry, I think acquiring the players they did really helped out their team.

Believe it or not, I think Hilton Armstrong MAY be able to come out his shell in Houston and perform off the bench for them. He never really had a chance to do that in New Orleans and I think he could do it here with a fresh start. It should be interesting to see how Jordan Hill does. If he ends up developing into the player he should, more the reason the Rockets absolutely raped the Knicks in this trade.

I wanted the Kings to keep Armstrong, I also think he could end up being a solid player.

Nobody mentioning Boston as loosers? They gave up eddie house, a shooter on that team that provides space. Watching the laker game tonight once allen is out of the game no one is going to respect the outside shot of the Celtics backcourt in the game.

Kings come out as winners for the future. I really like there deals. Landry is a good compliment too Evans.

Bobcats trade for Tyrus Thomas makes sense...for NBA 2k10 he'll be helpful in there not sure in real life.

I also like what the Knicks did. Dumped a bunch of Salary. They set themselves up to sign 2 max deals. I can honeslty see them signing Wade and Bosh this summer.

Clevland also a winner. They got closer to LA, but the Lakers will beat them in a 7 game series.

You want to know who the biggest loser is...the fuckin Knicks.

What superstar, in their right mind, is going to want to play for that team? They are GAR-BAGE. They will return Wilson Chandler, Toney Douglas, Eddy Curry, Sergio Rodriguez, and Gallinari. What a junk core of guys...plus, they don't have first round picks for the next two seasons.

The Knicks are on the last train to loser-ville and I pity the marquee FA that goes there.

And no, it won't be LeBron or Wade...maybe they convince a Bosh or Joe Johnson to come aboard...MAYBE.

The Knicks will end up trying to roll the cap over a bit so they can try and score Carmelo in 2011, bank on it...they'll swing and miss in 2010.

Yes, because when you get rid of a player in Salmons who was shooting awfully and was losing minutes to Kirk Hinrich, and he has a player option for next season for I believe 6+ million, something the Bulls couldn't afford to have on their cap for their free agent run. As for Tyrus, he was in Vinny's dog house ever since he recovered from his broken arm and he needed a change of scenery. He has a lot of potential, but he's an idiot w/ 0 basketball IQ. The Bulls needed cap space to go after a player like Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, Joe Johnson, Carlos Boozer, etc., and they got rid of 2 players who were basically dead weight for expiring contracts who so far are contributing more than those 2 did.

The Knicks are IMO losers. Why? Remember the 00-01 Bulls who traded most of their team away for cap space to go after Tim Duncan,Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady and Eddie Jones, and look how that turned out for them. The Knicks may suffer the same fate.
