In the Showdown 2001 set, there were only two 11 on-base players: Jason Giambi and Carlos Delgado. The 2002 and beyond sets they changed the formula so there were plenty of players that had 11 on-base or higher. Barry Bonds had a 16 on-base in the 2003 set, which was absurd.

I played way too much Showdown as a kid.

Nobody...NOBODY played the game harder. Running over catchers in All Star games, sprinting to 1B on walks, and his emphatic slamming of the ball into the ground on third outs at 1B are what I will always remember about Pete. Nobody went harder than Pete.
