We have no influence over how well the members of the other site receives the information and reacts to it. Every merge that fails is because of the other site's members not wanting to and the staff listening to them.

I recall, back in the ole MM days, once we changed over to that "all sports mania" or whatever it was called, that James wanted a shit load of money for the actual Madden Mania domain name. It was lul worthy then, and even MORE lul worthy now, especially now that it no longer has a database and is pretty much a failed name brand like 6 years after its last peak time.
