We spoke to Buckeye about joining UTC forces with VSN primarily because of the content he produces, his profile in the Madden community as a Game Changer and founder of DLG. As a bonus, he also brought his NGF league here to the site with about ~20 new members.

i was just saying they didnt appear to have many members. i applaud the effort to bring people in. Plus buckeye has been posting for weeks and seems like a good dude...personally i think its a good start and would rather see smaller site that hang around than bigger sites that dont.

I'm working on one, possibly a second. As Bill said, they were posting a lot of content and we can provide a bigger platform for that. Same with the other sites I'm looking at. Much easier for them to focus on what they like to do and not have to worry about hosting bills, keeping things active, etc.

Active users... nah, we didnt use forums much. Content reads per day in off peak times? about 900 views/day. Content reads during peak releases and title launches? about 16k. Thats a shit ton of business.

I personally have 4 or 5 posts with over 50k each views over a 3 month span. We have multiple featured articles on the Bleacher Report. We have enough contacts that we can do serious work when I have the time.
