Saw posted on Kotaku today about three new modes that are apparently already in the game that just need to be unlocked, be it by "DLC" or just IW being generous. There is a VIP mode like that found in Counter-Strike (interesting, but dunno how good it would be, seems it'd be too easy to kill him), a one-flag CTF variant (like Halo), and a mode called "Global Thermonuclear War" which has a nuke in the middle of the map that the teams need to capture.

pretty much. a time starts a countdown of like 6 seconds. I managed to get up on a sign on highrise and see what happens. Basically a large cloud of smoke rolls in and kills everyone. thats when your frozen.
the guy who sets it off gets credit for the kills tooComment

Hey fellas, I just picked this game up and wanted to know if you guys had any tips on getting the aim and timing down? Before I even think about jumping on-line I think I will run through the campain first but according to the training part I suck very bad!Comment

Really, learning the maps and knowing where the action is and where guys are likely to be is as important as being able to aim well. If you can anticipate where enemies will be, and you will be able to once you learn the maps, you can get alot more kills than if you have great accuracy but don't know where guys are coming from...Last edited by BazookaJoe5; 11-20-2009, 11:28 AM.Comment

Online is easier than campaign...LOL. All of the starter guns are pretty easy to use, I preferred the FAMAS at first but the other AR is easy to use and a good weapon as well. Random advice: don't worry about your K-D ratio, get out and explore and learn the maps, find the hot spots and places you can get easy kills (like narrow bridges, alleys, etc, that don't take much aiming), if you die, watch the killcam to both see how the guy killed you (which is a nice help for new players, to see how better players aim and whatnot) and to find out where he is. Watch your teammates, follow them, see where they camp/snipe/run to to get into the action, also remember sometimes going the opposite way is better so you can catch some guys off guard.
