Some of those perks are pretty sweet. Seem to allow more specialized roles within a team in a clan match, like the Marathon one letting one or two of your guys get to an HQ/Dom point faster, etc.

its been confirmed the PC version of this game will NOT have dedicated servers which is really surprising. one of the reasons was people pirating the game and setting up cracked servers.

I got my PTOM today and it has a feature on MW2, shows four of the maps. They are pretty varied. Highrise is shaped like Wetwork, looks like it has more paths through the map though. Estate looks kinda like Creek (the mag even makes that comparison). The layout of Favela (the one from the MP CTF video) reminds me alot of Backlot. I'm sure they all have their own little features but just what I noticed from looking at them...
