I was pissed at a few spoilers that i accidentally came across, but o well, no harm no foul.
Here is Activisions response to the leaked content.
“The scene establishes the depth of evil and the cold bloodedness of a rogue Russian villain and his unit. By establishing that evil, it adds to the urgency of the player’s mission to stop them.
Players have the option of skipping over the scene. At the beginning of the game, there are two ‘checkpoints’ where the player is advised that some people may find an upcoming segment disturbing. These checkpoints can’t be disabled.
Modern Warfare 2 is a fantasy action game designed for intense, realistic game play that mirrors real life conflicts, much like epic, action movies. It is appropriately rated 18 for violent scenes, which means it is intended for those who are 18 and older.â€Comment

warnings? smh if you buy the game in the first place you know there's going to be blood and shooting. why buy it if you're not going to see it. this kind of ruins the experience for me. a black screen saying "warning these next few images will be extremely violent" who cares

so was MA banning gamertags of anyone who had F2 and borderlands early? or was just people who had a modded xbox?
what if someone buys a legit copy from a store who broke the street date.....was there anythign posted about these people related to the banning?Comment

if your online with a game (legit copy or burned) before release MS will ban you unless you work for a company and are reviewing a game or something. it doesnt matter if its a modded 360 or not cause some people get a legit copy of the game and play it early. with this being such a high profile game MS will be working overtime looking for people playing it early.Comment

i dont understand how MS can justify banning someone who bought the game. Not everyone is a knowledgeable gamer, so maybe some kids mom buys the game and the son starts playing it...maybe they dont know about street dates and stuff like that. I can see the store being punished for breaking the street date, but i dont see how you can penalize the consumer.
if its modded and MS knows it, that i can understandComment

CrimsonGhost is wrong, sorry bro. They didn't ban legit copies for forza and borderlands
Illegitimately obtained early copies of Forza Motorsport 3 or Borderlands, being played online over Xbox Live, have resulted in permabans for the accounts of offending players, Microsoft has confirmed.
Originally posted by Kotakullegitimately obtained early copies of Forza Motorsport 3 or Borderlands, being played online over Xbox Live, have resulted in permabans for the accounts of offending players, Microsoft has confirmed. The Microsoft chief of police Stephen Toulouse has said that his enforcement team is inspecting early play and applying permabans only to those with illegitimately obtained early copies of either game. Those who got their copy because a retailer broke street date are safe, Stepto says.
"Don't worry folks, anyone who bought a copy early is ok. In general, if you got a receipt, play away. These are illegit copies we're hitting," Toulouse tweeted around 4:15 pm. U.S. Pacific Time.Last edited by MmmmBeeeeer; 10-29-2009, 11:49 AM.Comment

So you all know how retarded I am when it comes to paying attention to messages in my inbox on PSN...
I logged in the night before, and I had like 4 messages from this clown claimin to be a IW Rep asking me to forward his message to 150 PSN users. If I had then, I woulda won either money or the game depending on the message. I didn't forward to message to anyone, but I was wondering if anyone else got this message. I don't remember the dude's name but I figure it was some spam being sent around.
