Just to clarify, you guys are just fighting with characters straight out of Create-A-Fighter? So does this mean all the guys are really bad? Because that doesn't sound like much fun.

no the guys straight out of Create-A-Fighter are good. you get 3000 points to distribute to attributes. CAFs only suck when you make them for Career mode

Yup, straight out of create-a-fighter. The fighters usually have around an 82-88 overall, somewhere in there.
