I used to own ESPN 2k5, and honestly it was dogshit covered in diamonds.

The presentation was nice, and a lot of the animations were nice, but in reality Madden 06 and 07 for the PS2 were better.

People to this day still think 2k5 is the best football game ever made. And it may be. But when it came down to actual gameplay Madden 07 08 09 for the PS2 are the best football games hands down for gameplay.

I do agree with 2k5 being better than Madden 06 07 and 08 for the 360, but not for the ps2. Those late year Madden PS2 games are untouchable.

I feel the same way you do. I loved 2K's presentation but hated the actual gameplay, playbooks, AI logic, and just about everything else that occurred on the field. Madden was always the better game to play and 2K was always the better game to look at or watch.

Defense on 2K really sucked. Madden 06 and 07 on PS2 were gold though.

One reason people love 2K5 is because they can get historic rosters. I am gonna create some Historic rosters this year on Madden 10. First is the 1999 Rams.
