How would the initial draft be determined?

Initial draft order would be determined via a live web cam show of my ugly mug drawing names out of a hat in reverse order. I do this in order to prevent allegations of fixing the draft order.

I would put everyone's "name" in a hat shake it up and then pull out the first name. That person would be unlucky #32 in the draft the next #31 etc... until the last name in the hat wins the #1 pick in the draft.

After the initial season 1. I will use a formula to determine how many "lottery balls" you have and we would do the same draft style again.

I am still mulling the idea in my head the idea I have right now is to use 33% performance (i.e. worst record in the league would get an advantage in the next draft just like the NBA Draft) 33% participation (getting your games in on time/putting in your stats on time/posting game recaps on time/etc) and 33% how "sim" you play (after each game I'll require each player to rate their opponent in a private e-mail to me 1-10 in terms of offense, defense, special teams and overall impression of how "straight" their opponent was).

Once all three aspects of a user is taken into account they will be assigned a number of "lottery balls" (i.e. pieces of paper). Then I would put all the names into a hat and again do a live webcam draft show to determine the draft order again in reverse order to build of the drama (i.e. person that has the worst season but does all they are required to do and plays sim will have the fewest "balls" and therefore the best chance of getting the #1 slot).

Just my two cents on that... I could very well see people just in anger of losing skew these numbers a bit to possibly get a higher draft pick. I really like the participation factor though. It should only be things that you personally can judge in my opinion.

I thought there would be more interest in an NFL-style NCAA league than is shown to date....especially interest by those not to keen on playing in an online franchise. Maybe we need to keep this bumped up.

Give it a little more time, Madden's getting all the hype right now, but once NCAA gets even closer to dropping, there will be more interest.
