I posted the info at SAPML [those guys are straight] so maybe we will get a couple from there since SAPML is now a VSN PS3 league.

CLW, a day or two before you cut off entries, give me a chance to notify any members of SAPML that their last chance is upcoming, just in case some have not come over yet. Not saying there would be any, but you never know.

Your decision of a cut-off date I would be in agreement with.

It is first come first serve. It won't take long to set everything up on leaguedaddy. If we get started by the end of July that would be ideal. Of course the sooner the better.

It's not looking very good in terms of interest right now.

We will go with whomever signs up at this point and do the best we can.

However, we will wait to start after the patch comes that fixes the online rosters. No official word on when that will be.

You travel in legal circles and I as well in some respect. I have been hearing from a couple of anonymous attorneys down here that are echoing your sentiments somewhat, that the Keller deal could very well have resulted in the freaked-up situation that we are seeing with NCAA today. I'm not sure we should count on a Day 1 patch unless this "situation" is resolved. The powers that be will simply leave it to us to "make do."

Right now, I am biting my tongue on making a final decision as to the league. Why should we torture ourselves otherwise? If things are rectified, then other decisions open up.

CLW, some second thoughts on "being okay with 20 and the cutoff" which I think I mentioned earlier....and someone else as well.

With all the problems with the demo and not knowing what EA is going to do to correct the issues, even with the patch, if that comes to fruition, I would think that maybe there is no "cut off" until we know what is what. I know you did mention the "end of July" RE: draft, etc., but if EA does not do a good enough "fix" after the product drops, the league may see some players drop. If that occurs, the additional signees would be beneficial.
