As much as I wish this game would come up, I just really not sure it ever will. I'm really starting to wonder if this was just a ploy to get someone to come buy the engine from them. At the very least, they might just be out of money because development isn't going as planned.
They've been working on this game for how long without having any in-game footage? We're getting screenshots of some guys TV and they're slapping embargo's after promising E3 info.
Either they never intended to make a working game, or they are just unable too. I'm sure someone will jump right in and defend them and I can't blame them for doing it. I was looking forward to atleast testing out this game, but there isn't a logical explanation for not having a public display of a game after over a year of development.
Unless you don't have a game.Comment

The demo was probably closed because they wanted professionals to get a hands-on experience so that the game will be properly reviewed on multiple websites. No I don't agree with their tactics myself, but if the above were the case then I would understand. This game has been shredded and picked apart by some real haters and/or doubters at backbreakergame.com. One of the Devs even said that they hesitate showing anything because of how well things are received sometimes.Comment

Are they not going to release the game because their feelings might get hurt?
If EA was only giving priveledged media members the opportunity to play and review Madden there would be a huge outcry about manipulation. The CD attendee's had their credibility trashed.
"Unjust criticism" doesn't exist in the corporate world. Either you fucked up, or you didn't. Theres nothing unjust about it. Either it looks like a football game, or it doesn't. In fact, getting feedback and criticism would most likely help them fix those issues before release.
If the game was coming along and working properly then the doubters wouldn't have much to say. If the game ISN'T working, then it would add fuel to their fire. Which do you think is the more logical explanation based on theri actions?Comment
